Quito is set to become the hub for geek culture once more in 2026 with the announcement of Budokan Quito, which will take place on May 16 and 17 at the Centro de Exposiciones Quito. Notable voice actress Patricia Azan, known for her iconic roles including Eric Cartman from South Park, has been confirmed as a guest at the event, joining a lineup of renowned Latin American voice actors. Alongside Azan, popular voices like Mario Castañeda, who voices Gokú from Dragon Ball, and René García, known for characters such as Vegeta, are also confirmed to appear.
