Another Company Reduces Its Staff - Several Positions Will No Longer Be Needed

Hallo Healthcare Business Services in Lithuania is set to lay off 16 employees due to a client terminating their contract for services.

The Employment Service of Lithuania reported that Hallo Healthcare Business Services plans to dismiss 16 of its 67 employees, including accountants and financial department managers, between April 30 and May 29. The layoffs are attributed to the client discontinuing their service contracts, as stated by Milda JankauskienÄ—, a spokesperson for the Employment Service.

The report details that the layoffs will include various positions such as six accountants, four senior accountants, and three financial department heads, highlighting a significant reduction in staffing to adapt to the changed business circumstances. The company's average salary was reported to be €2,883 in December 2025, with a net loss of €727,891 for the previous year despite generating sales revenues of €3.3 million in 2024.

This situation reflects ongoing challenges in the Lithuanian healthcare service sector and raises concerns about job security and economic stability as companies navigate financial pressures and changing client needs. The decision to reduce staff is a strategic move in response to the lack of demand from primary service contracts, indicating a broader trend that could affect other similar companies in the region.
