A severe frost warning has been issued for most of Latvia, with particular emphasis on the southern regions of Latgale, SΔlija, and Zemgale, which are under an orange-level warning. The rest of the country is under a yellow-level warning, indicating potential risks associated with extreme cold temperatures. On Tuesday morning, the minimum temperatures are predicted to be in the range of -22 to -17 degrees Celsius in many places, with some areas in the south experiencing even lower temperatures of up to -26 degrees. The coastal regions and northern Vidzeme may see slightly milder conditions, ranging from -16 to -11 degrees.
