On the night of Sunday, October 8, firefighters responded to a fire at a mechanic shop located in the São José neighborhood of Montes Claros. Upon arrival, they found the fire concentrated in an area with flammable materials, requiring immediate action to control it. Fortunately, the quick response of the firefighters helped prevent the flames from spreading further within the shop and to neighboring buildings, which could have led to greater damages.

The firefighters reported that there were 13 motorcycles and two quadricycles inside the shop, all of which remained untouched by the flames. Approximately 1,000 liters of water were used to extinguish the fire, and after the flames were put out, the firefighters conducted a thorough cooling and re-inspection of the premises to ensure safety.
