In Bosnia, the victory of Dodik's associate is confirmed in the Serb Republic presidential elections

Siniša Karan, an ally of Milorad Dodik, has been confirmed as the winner of the presidential elections in the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, partial repeat presidential elections for the Serb Republic were held on Sunday, confirming the victory of Siniša Karan, the candidate of the ruling Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and associate of the incumbent president Milorad Dodik. According to the official results, Karan secured 50.4% of the votes, while his opponent, Branko Blanuša of the opposition Serbian Democratic Party (SDS), received 48.2% of the votes. The elections had earlier faced challenges when results from 136 polling stations were annulled by the election commission due to violations found during the election process, which raised concerns about the integrity of the electoral outcome.
