In the partially repeated presidential elections in Republika Srpska, pro-Kremlin candidate Karans emerged victorious with 50.4% of the votes amid significant electoral irregularities.
The recently held partially repeated presidential elections in Republika Srpska, an autonomous region within Bosnia and Herzegovina, were necessitated due to serious violations that led to the annulment of the previous voting held in November. As per the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the preliminary results indicate that pro-Kremlin candidate Karans secured 50.4% of the votes cast on Sunday, narrowly defeating his opposition rival Branko Blanušs, who garnered 48.2%.
