The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has provided a weather outlook indicating a combination of sunshine and cloudy conditions across the country from Monday to Wednesday. According to the forecast, the northern region will experience predominantly sunny and cloudy skies throughout this period.

In the southern region, NiMet predicts sunny conditions with patches of clouds, alongside a possibility of isolated thunderstorms and light rain in parts of Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River states later in the day. On Tuesday, conditions are expected to remain similar, with sunny and hazy skies anticipated over the northern and central regions, while scattered clouds will characterize the southern areas.

The forecast also warns of potential thunderstorms with light rain in some areas during the morning, specifically affecting the states of Ogun, Lagos, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River. This diverse weather pattern reflects the transitional nature of Nigeria's climate, as it approaches the wet season, affecting various regions differently during this time.
