According to regulations, school buses must have insurance that covers full damages in the event of an accident. Just days earlier, on November 23, another incident in Gimpo City involved a school bus running a red light and driving recklessly, which prompted police to stop and check the vehicle, discovering it also lacked mandatory insurance. Following these incidents, police plan to enhance their monitoring and enforcement from December 9 to 20 to ensure compliance with insurance requirements for children's school buses.
