The second edition of Liga Pro Kids took place successfully on Sunday morning at the Christian Benítez Betancourt stadium, located in Parque Samanes in northern Guayaquil. This football event for children not only provided an exciting atmosphere but also focused on nurturing young talent in the region. Noteworthy participants included Miguel Ángel Loor, the president of the Liga Profesional de Ecuador (Liga Pro), and Aquiles Alvarez Henriques, the mayor of Guayaquil. Additionally, former Spanish football star Carles Puyol, who was in Ecuador after being a special guest at Barcelona SC's Noche Amarilla 2025, added prestige to the event with his presence. Puyol's nomination as the official ambassador of Guayaquil as the American Capital of Sport further highlighted the city's commitment to promoting sports and youth engagement.

Joffre Paredes, president of the Liga Pro Foundation, expressed satisfaction with the tournament's outcome, stating that it was a relentless effort dedicated to the children of Guayaquil.
