A 13-year-old adolescent was apprehended after being suspected of murdering a 29-year-old man, Francisco Adriano Brandão da Silva, in Cruzeiro do Sul, Acre, Brazil. The incident occurred on October 6, when the victim was shot nine times at his mother’s house while he was with his siblings. The police reported that the teenager confessed to the crime, claiming he acted under the orders of a criminal gang. Following an investigation initiated right after the shooting, the police located and arrested the adolescent on Saturday, October 7.
