To qualify for full scholarships at PUC Minas, candidates must have a gross family income of no more than one and a half minimum wages per capita, equating to R$ 2,431.50. For partial scholarships, students' family income must range from one and a half minimum wages (R$ 2,431.50) up to three minimum wages per capita (R$ 4,863). According to university officials, students with incomes exceeding these thresholds do not meet the socioeconomic profile required to access either scholarship option, aiming to ensure support is directed towards financially disadvantaged students.
