In Divinópolis, Brazil, streets Goiás and Pernambuco, along with MG-050, were identified as the most dangerous roads in 2025, according to data from the State Secretariat of Justice and Public Safety (Sejusp). These three streets accounted for a staggering 822 traffic accidents over the year. The principal cause of the accidents has been attributed to a lack of attention among drivers, which underscores the need for greater vigilance while on the road.

Specifically, the MG-050 topped the list with 339 accidents, making it the single most hazardous route in the area. Following closely were Rua Goiás and Rua Pernambuco, with 272 and 211 accidents, respectively. The report highlighted additional streets that contribute to the overall traffic hazards, such as Avenida Paraná and Rodovia BR-494, which also had significant accident figures. The total number of traffic incidents recorded in Divinópolis for 2025 reached 7,022, encompassing both fatal and non-fatal collisions.
