Tottori Prefecture specifically received a 'significant heavy snow information' alert from the Meteorological Agency, with reports indicating up to 30 cm of snow in the city of Yoshikata within a six-hour period. The Pacific side also saw widespread snowfall, accumulating 3 cm in the central district of Tokyo.
