The government of Tocantins has announced that the Carnival 2026 festivities in Palmas will occur at Praça dos Girassóis from February 13 to 15. The event, known as Carnapraça, aims to provide an engaging experience for attendees, featuring a lineup of national acts such as the band Limão com Mel alongside several regional artists that reflect the local culture and music scene. This diverse lineup is designed to cater to various musical tastes and ensure that all participants enjoy the festivities.

According to the State Secretary of Tourism, the event will showcase a range of musical genres including sertanejo, forró, and pagode, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere of the Carnival season. Notable confirmed performers include singers Kadu Martins and Jefferson Moraes, as well as the duo Iguinho and Lulinha, each contributing to the vibrant and festive spirit expected at the event.
