Service on the section of line 11-Coral will be interrupted this Sunday

The 11-Coral line of the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos will have service interruptions due to maintenance work this Sunday.

The Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM) has announced that the 11-Coral line will suspend train services between Luz and Barra Funda stations from 8 AM to 5 PM on Sunday, the 8th. This interruption is due to necessary maintenance work aimed at ensuring the safety and reliability of train operations. Passengers have been advised to use the 10-Tirquesa line as an alternative route during this period.

Additionally, CPTM has provided further guidance for passengers on that day. At Brás Cubas and Jundiapeba stations, passengers will need to board trains from platform 2. Also, at Tatuapé station, from 8 AM until midnight, services will be limited to platform 1. This extensive operational adjustment indicates the extensive planning that goes into maintaining the integrity of public transportation in the region, especially as it occurs just before the busy pre-Carnival period.

Further changes will also affect the 12-Safira line this weekend, with trains set to arrive and depart from platform 2 at Tatuapé and Jardim Romano stations from 4 AM to 8 PM on Sunday. The scheduling of these maintenance works highlights the CPTM’s commitment to enhancing train service quality while navigating logistical challenges during peak travel times.
