The Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza has begun distributing shelter and health aid packages in the Egyptian camp at Nitzarim, located south of Gaza City, targeting thousands of displaced individuals who have arrived in the region in recent days. This distribution comes amid a severe shortage of shelter materials and basic necessities as many families struggle to find adequate housing.

The area currently hosts over 15,000 tents, and the ongoing delivery of Qatari assistance aims to support the displaced residents, helping them cope with the harsh conditions brought about by the conflict. According to reports, many families are without proper housing and access to essential life supplies, underscoring the urgent need for humanitarian support.

In a statement, Abdul Rahman Khalidi, spokesperson for the committee, highlighted that this initiative is part of Qatar's continued commitment to providing aid and support to the people of the Gaza Strip, especially in displacement camps. The assistance being distributed includes shelter kits and health packages containing blankets, pillows, mats, and other essential items, aimed at boosting the resilience of the Palestinian citizens currently in various displacement locations in Gaza.
