Amagua, the company responsible for providing drinking water and sewer services in Samborondón and Daule, has released a schedule for planned water service interruptions due to repairs and upgrades being carried out by Interagua. The maintenance work on the La Toma plant, located in the northern part of Guayaquil, is set to start at 2:00 AM and will wrap up at 1:00 PM, with the water service interruption extended until 2:00 PM by Amagua.

Certain neighborhoods in Daule and Samborondón are slated to experience cuts in service, as detailed by the authorities. In Daule, affected areas include urbanizations and shopping centers: Urb. Volare, Altos del Río, C.C. Mix Center, and others. Meanwhile, in Samborondón, the right side will be impacted from Aquamarina to Laguna del Sol, including Aires Norte and the municipality's fire department.

The operational adjustments are part of a larger maintenance initiative aimed at ensuring reliable water supply in the affected regions. Residents have been advised to prepare for the disruption, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the schedule released by Amagua to minimize inconvenience during the maintenance period.
