The match showcased a strong performance by TalTech, who initially dominated by winning the first two sets. However, BARRUS/Võru fought back impressively, managing to win two consecutive sets, thus pushing the match into a decisive fifth set.
In the crucial fifth set, TalTech started strong, establishing an early lead at 4:1 and again stretching it to 9:4, ultimately closing the set at 15:11 to secure the match victory. Maren Mõrd was a standout performer for TalTech, contributing significantly with 24 points, including nine in the opening set. Other key contributors included Sigrit Tänav, who set a personal season record with 18 points, and Anu Talvar, who was pivotal with six blocks among her 12 points.
Despite the loss, BARRUS/Võru's players also showcased remarkable skills, with Margot Saharov leading their scoring with 14 points.
