'Our time is weak, but the era will come', said Tejashwi Yadav after taking charge of RJD
Tejashwi Yadav officially took charge as the acting president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Patna, emphasizing the need for renewal and determination within the party amidst ongoing political challenges.
On Saturday in Patna, Tejashwi Yadav formally assumed his role as the acting president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) during a program held at the party office. In his address, he spoke about various critical issues including political attacks, organizational expansion, allegations against the NDA government, and the future of the RJD. He expressed a strong commitment to leading the party with renewed energy and resolve, reassuring party leaders and workers of his readiness to advance RJD's interests.
Speaking emotionally, Tejashwi addressed the challenges he has faced in his political journey, mentioning how he has been targeted by investigative agencies since a young age. He articulated feelings of injustice, stating that the current ruling powers are actively seeking to undermine the opposition. Tejashwi stressed that his only fault lies in opposing the decision made by Nitish Kumar to align with the BJP in 2017, which he views as a pivotal moment of betrayal and political manipulation against his party.
Tejashwi also spoke about his vision for the future of the RJD, vowing to fulfill the dreams of his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and elevate the party to national status. His ambitions seem geared towards not only revitalizing the RJD's standing in Bihar but also positioning it as a significant player on the national political stage amidst an increasingly competitive environment.
