Mercedes takes over the production of Marco Polo. Quieter, brighter, and more comfortable.
Mercedes introduces a modernized version of the Marco Polo model, focusing on user comfort with significant design improvements.
Mercedes-Benz has announced the launch of a refreshed version of the Marco Polo model, aimed at enhancing user comfort through various practical design updates. The latest iteration remains based on the V-Class framework but aims to combine the functionalities of a daily vehicle with that of a camper suitable for travel and short trips. One of the standout features includes a new pop-up roof made of double-layer aluminum which offers enhanced insulation and adds an additional 10 cm of headroom when elevated.
Inside the vehicle, several upgrades have been implemented, including new adjustable LED ambient lighting and a sliding sunroof that improves both natural light intake and ventilation. The awning structure has also been redesigned for easier assembly and disassembly, with a crank now integrated into the handle for user convenience. Additionally, new magnetic blackout elements have been introduced for better nighttime comfort, allowing for swift closure of the driver’s cabin.
The refreshed Marco Polo also boasts enhanced technical solutions and system updates, focusing on improving the overall driving and living experience within the vehicle. This strategic update is part of Mercedes’ continuing commitment to producing versatile vehicles that cater to both everyday use and the recreational market, indicating a broader trend towards hybrid functionalities in automotive design.
