Qelo, a leading Croatian e-mobility service provider, has reported significant growth and plans to expand its network of ultra-fast charging stations amid a rising demand for electric vehicles.
Qelo, a prominent Croatian provider of e-mobility services, recently shared its preliminary annual business results, indicating a strong growth trajectory. The company's market capitalization is currently estimated at 30 million euros, with the number of users doubling in the past year. They have expanded and modernized their network of charging stations, resulting in an impressive revenue increase of over 250% compared to the previous year. The executive team, including CEO Predrag Šeatović, COO Tomislav Kajdi, and Business Development Director Tomislav Ivanetić, acknowledged these achievements while also outlining their future plans for the business.
The company is preparing to further expand its network of ultra-fast charging stations, which are a crucial infrastructure component for the anticipated rise in electric vehicles. Currently, Qelo operates 48 ultra-fast charging stations, along with 3 DC and 41 AC chargers. With secured funding for an additional 12 ultra-fast chargers, they aim to reach a total of 60 stations. The current coverage in areas like Dalmatia is limited, but the company is actively working to enhance accessibility across Croatia.
As the Croatian market gears up for a future where electric vehicles could number 200,000 by 2030, the need for adequate charging infrastructure is becoming increasingly crucial.
