The Arisell tragedy occurred on June 24, 2024, at a lithium battery manufacturing plant in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, where an explosion killed 23 workers, leaving many families with unresolved grief and loss.
During their visit to the joint memorial site at Daejeon City Hall, Yang Han-woong, co-representative of the Arisell Countermeasure Committee, and family members voiced their concerns about the unresolved retrieval of remains from the Arisell incident, urging authorities to perform thorough investigations from the onset.
