In Latvia, a troubling trend has emerged where younger individuals exhibit diminishing interest in political activities, particularly in the context of upcoming elections. A series of articles aims to explore why political participation among youth is alarmingly low and seeks to identify strategies to encourage this demographic to engage with the electoral process. Surveys indicate that many young people feel a lack of effective communication from politicians, which contributes to their disengagement from voting.
