The incident occurred on the morning of Saturday, October 21, when the victim was returning home from a celebratory event with a group of students. During their return, they encountered the youths who were vandalizing property in the neighborhood by kicking gates and windows. This led to a confrontation when the students confronted the attackers about their behavior.

The situation escalated when the group of young people, initially dispersed after a brief confrontation, returned armed with sticks and began attacking the students. The victim was struck on the head with a wooden stick, causing him to fall to the ground, where he continued to be assaulted. Emergency services were called, and the victim lost consciousness due to the severity of his injuries, which included significant bleeding.
