Peter Popovic has been named the new sports director for Västerås IK, a team competing in Sweden's Allsvenskan, as he transitions from his current role as an assistant coach with Tappara. Popovic is set to begin his new position in June, solidifying his career move following a commendable playing history, which includes over 500 NHL games.
