Three legendary handball players, Aidenas Malašinskas, Giedrius Morkūnas, and Benas Petreikis, will retire from the Lithuanian national team on Sunday, reflecting a significant transition in the country's handball history. Malašinskas, who has been named Lithuania's best handball player six times and is the all-time top scorer for the national team with 537 goals, has made a remarkable impact over his career. Both Morkūnas and Petreikis have also been vital to the team for over a decade and contributed to securing a place in the 2022 European Championship after nearly 25 years.
