Winners of the Little Prince Award are Haide Männamäe and Toomas Tross

Haide Männamäe and Toomas Tross have been awarded the Little Prince Theatre Prize for their dedication to engaging young audiences.

On the International Young Audience Theatre Day, the Little Prince Theatre Prize for 2026 was awarded to artists Haide Männamäe and Toomas Tross, who are recognized for their creative and mindful contributions to theatre for younger audiences. This recognition highlights the importance of cultivating a caring and artistically bold relationship between creators and young viewers in theatre. Männamäe and Tross, a clown duo known as Piip and Tuut, have built a significant reputation in Estonia. They are not only influential theatre figures who have created their own theatre and web TV channel but have also been recognized with numerous awards, including the Order of the White Star and the Salme Reek prize for contributions to Estonian theatre. They have also authored books, produced television programs, and starred in multiple media formats, showcasing their diverse talents. Currently, Piip and Tuut are touring in Australia, where they are performing and promoting their work. Due to their absence at the award ceremony, the prize was accepted on their behalf by a representative from the Piip and Tuut Theatre, ensuring that their achievements continue to be celebrated even while abroad.
