Israeli media has reported that one person was killed in a vehicle fire in the Upper Galilee area following rocket fire from Lebanon on Sunday. Channel 12 mentioned that the explosion occurred in the Misgav region, while Channel 14 reported that two vehicles burned as a result of the attack. The Israeli military confirmed damage and injuries from gunfire launched from Lebanese territory targeting a northern sector settlement, indicating that the targeting process was monitored as it unfolded.

The Israel Civil Defense indicated that debris fell in several areas of southern Israel without any reported injuries. Additionally, sirens were activated in Yiftah, near the eastern border with Lebanon, due to what was described as a drone infiltration. This escalation comes amidst a series of incidents along the Israel-Lebanon border and highlights the increasing tensions in that area, posing risks to civilian safety.

In response, Hezbollah announced early Sunday that it had carried out 14 operations targeting Israeli military positions with precision missiles, drones, and artillery fire, asserting that its actions are "defensive" in nature, aimed at protecting Lebanon and its people. The attacks targeted various sites including those in Adaisseh, Markaba, Khirbat Yaron, and the outskirts around the area known as Khyam, among others, suggesting a coordinated effort to challenge Israeli military presence in the region and underlining the volatility of the current situation.
