Forecasters warn to be careful after night: danger lurking in some places

The weather forecast indicates a risk of freezing and fog in some areas, with mild temperatures expected during the day.

The Lithuania weather forecast for Sunday predicts a dry day with temperatures ranging from 9 to 14 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures will drop between 0 to 5 degrees Celsius. Forecasters have advised caution due to the formation of fog in certain areas throughout the night and in the morning. Wind conditions will be mild with varying directions, generally weak during the night and picking up to 4-9 m/s during the day.

Moving into Monday, the probability of precipitation remains low, and the wind is expected to be light at night, but will shift to southern and southwestern from 6 to 11 m/s during the daytime. Temperature readings will range from 3 degrees below freezing at night to 2 degrees above freezing in the morning, with daytime highs expected between 10 and 15 degrees, though coastal areas may see slightly lower temperatures.

On Tuesday, no significant precipitation is anticipated, but concerns about icy conditions (black ice) during the night and early morning have been raised by meteorologists. Winds will shift to a southwestern and western direction, maintaining speeds around 4-9 m/s. Daily temperature forecasts will vary from 2 degrees below freezing to a high of 14 degrees Celsius, but again, the western regions could experience lower temperatures between 5 to 8 degrees Celsius during the day.
