A ten-year-old boy and a woman in her 40s were moderately injured, while about 20 others suffered light injuries from shrapnel following missile strikes in Dimona, Israel.

On Saturday evening, a missile strike in Dimona, Israel, left a ten-year-old boy and a woman in her 40s moderately injured, with around 20 others suffering from light injuries due to shrapnel. The attack is believed to have originated from Iranian sources, directly striking a single-story building and causing damage to several other structures. A fire ensued at the site, prompting firefighting services to work diligently to extinguish the flames and search for any trapped individuals.

Since midnight, five alarms were activated in Dimona and its surroundings, indicating continued threats from possible missile attacks. Just a week prior, the Home Front Command announced a relaxation of restrictions in several cities, including Dimona, allowing educational institutions to resume operations. However, the local municipality decided against reopening schools, citing security concerns in light of the recent attacks.

Earlier on the same day, five individuals sustained light injuries from strikes in Ma'alot-Tarshiha, which were reportedly a result of fire from Lebanon. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that some of the missiles launched from Lebanon were intercepted, while reports indicated isolated impacts in the region, with firefighting services actively searching for potential casualties amid the chaos.
