Penta versus Stachura / Financial group denies offering work to doctor from KDH; Stachura has emails
KDH politician Peter Stachura alleges financial group Penta offered him various medical management positions in 2012, a claim Penta denies, although Stachura maintains he has emails supporting his account.
Peter Stachura, a member of the KDH party, recounts his experience of being approached by the financial group Penta for job opportunities back in 2012, while he was practicing as a doctor in Germany. He claims that after publishing a few blogs, Penta invited him for an interview and offered multiple positions, including director roles at their private hospitals. Stachura, who had no prior management experience, was shocked by the offer and felt unqualified for such roles.
He shared that the proposal came from Eduard Maták, who was then a partner at Penta responsible for healthcare operations. Stachura described how as a physician unfamiliar with Penta, the idea of choosing a management position was daunting. Furthermore, he mentioned that if he accepted a position, there would be an expectation to join some of the top executives of Penta for days at a retreat, which he found unprofessional and alarming.
The controversy deepens as Penta disputes Stachura's account, denying they ever extended such an offer to him, thereby sparking a debate over transparency and ethical practices in healthcare management recruitment. Stachura asserts that he retains emails that substantiate his claims, indicating a complex interaction that could have implications for Penta's reputation and the integrity of healthcare hiring practices in Slovakia.
