The meeting also seriously addressed the recent incident in Mathura, where a well-known cow protector, Sant Chandrashekhar, also known as 'Farsa Wale Baba', was brutally murdered by cattle smugglers. Reports indicate that Baba was pursuing the smugglers on his motorcycle when they ran him over with their vehicle. CM Yogi directed a thorough review of all aspects related to this incident and insisted on taking stringent action against cattle smugglers, signaling the government's determination to protect not only the cattle but also those who defend them.

Participants included Animal Husbandry Minister Dharmapal Singh, commissioners for agricultural production, and senior officials from different departments, along with representatives from the Cow Service Commission. The importance of cow protection was reiterated as being not only a matter of faith but also a vital foundation for rural economy and sustainable development, thereby framing it as a significant agenda item for future policymaking in Uttar Pradesh.
