A fire broke out at a candle factory in Juazeiro do Norte, Brazil, early Saturday morning, with no injuries reported as the factory was closed at the time.

A candle factory in the Salesianos neighborhood of Juazeiro do Norte, located in the Cariri region of Ceará, Brazil, was engulfed in flames during the early hours of Saturday morning, September 21. Fortunately, the factory was closed at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported among workers or nearby residents. The fire became apparent when neighbors heard a loud noise followed by flames and quickly informed the owner, Francisco de Assis de Alencar.

Prior to the arrival of the firefighters, the owner and local residents acted quickly to extinguish the flames. Francisco de Assis mentioned that a group of neighbors formed a collective effort to use buckets of water from a nearby workshop in an attempt to douse the fire. This cooperation among the community helped in mitigating the damage, as they managed to limit the spread of the fire before professional assistance arrived.

When firefighters eventually arrived, they utilized hoses to extinguish the remaining flames from outside the factory. The prompt response from both the local community and firefighting services prevented the incident from escalating into a more severe situation. Thankfully, the factory structure and surrounding areas were ultimately protected from significant damage.
