Frida Westman, a talented Swedish ski flyer, achieved a remarkable feat in Vikersund, Norway, by breaking the national record for ski flying on Friday with a jump of 218 meters. This impressive performance earned her 195.4 points and placed her in fifth position ahead of the competition's decisive round on Saturday. The previous record was held by Isak Grimholm, who jumped 207.5 meters in Slovenia in 2007, highlighting the significance of Westman's accomplishment in the context of Swedish winter sports.
On Saturday, Westman continued her exceptional performance by executing two jumps of 225 meters, effectively surpassing her own previous record and once again showcasing her skill and determination in the sport.
