The sister of the Carranza twins, missing in La Perla, wrote a letter to Milei asking for forensic support to continue the investigation

The sister of the Carranza twins, who disappeared during Argentina's dictatorship, has appealed to President Milei for more funding to support forensic investigations into their case.

In Córdoba, a significant revelation has emerged regarding the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of the Carranza twins during Argentina's military dictatorship. The Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team (EAAF) recently identified remains belonging to one of the twins based on a dental fragment found near La Perla, a former clandestine detention center. However, the identification process has highlighted a challenge: while one of the twins has been identified, it remains unclear whether it is Cecilia María or Adriana María, as genetic testing has not clarified which twin is represented by the remains.
