The African Development Bank Group recently hosted a stakeholder workshop aimed at enhancing youth-driven climate adaptation initiatives under the YouthADAPT programme. This session, which took place from February 24-25, 2026, gathered business leaders, policymakers, and development partners to critically evaluate the experiences from previous implementation cycles of YouthADAPT, which supports innovative climate adaptation solutions from young entrepreneurs across Africa. Participants discussed the program’s progression and opportunities for improvement, particularly focusing on how to better support youth-owned enterprises.
