The 'crazy' running challenge pushing people to their limits

A Geelong ultra runner, Tim Kacprzak, is engaged in the Last Man Standing running challenge, which has him running increasing distances daily, leading to remarkable achievements over 80 days.

Tim Kacprzak from Geelong, Australia, has undertaken an extraordinary running challenge for 2026, where he runs a minimum of 1 kilometre each day, adding another kilometre every subsequent day. Currently on day 80, he has run approximately 3,160km, which is roughly equivalent to the distance between Sydney and Perth, all while maintaining a rigorous schedule of running in loops of 10km. This challenge has pushed him to extreme limits and required him to take leave from work to keep up with the increasing demands of his running routine.
