RCCG settles eight babies’ medical bills in Lagos outreach

The Redeemed Christian Church of God has covered the medical expenses for eight newborns at a Lagos hospital as part of a charitable outreach initiative.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Youth Province One has undertaken a charitable initiative in Lagos to pay for the medical bills of eight newborn babies at the Mother and Child Centre within the Amuwo-Odofin General Hospital. This outreach is part of the celebrations for the birthday of General Overseer Enoch Adejare Adeboye. The church has expressed its commitment to supporting maternal and child healthcare, highlighting its outreach efforts towards vulnerable groups in society.

In addition to covering medical bills, the outreach also included donations of essential hospital supplies aimed at supporting maternal and child healthcare needs for one month. Leading this initiative were Leke Adeboye, the pastor in charge of the province, along with other key church leaders, including Pastor Martins Olusakin and Abiodun Famojuro. Their efforts underscore the church's dedication to community service and improving healthcare access in the region.

The initiative was made possible through a partnership with Shola and Adeola Olowolafe from RCCG Graceville, allowing the outreach to extend its reach to over seven Mother and Child Centre hospitals throughout Lagos. By providing both financial assistance and vital supplies, the RCCG aims to address healthcare challenges faced by mothers and newborns in a growing metropolitan area, demonstrating their commitment not just to spiritual well-being but also to the physical health of the community.
