Suspect of causing damage of R$ 25 thousand to an event space is arrested for trafficking in Montes Claros

A man in Montes Claros was arrested for drug trafficking, in connection with a separate incident involving damage to an event space estimated at R$ 25,000.

A 29-year-old man was arrested in Montes Claros for drug trafficking after police found significant quantities of drugs at an abandoned property. According to the Military Police, a tip-off led officers to investigate the location, where they discovered drugs hidden in the walls. The find included 240 crack stones, packets of cocaine, and other drugs, highlighting the scale of the operation that the suspect was involved in.

Further investigation revealed that the suspect was also linked to a previous case where he allegedly caused substantial damage amounting to R$ 25,000 to an event venue located in the Alto São João neighborhood. This incident had raised concerns within the local community about safety and the increasing problems with drug-related activities in the area.
