Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, made a statement regarding the situation at the Strait of Hormuz. The EU welcomed the recent decision by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), which unequivocally condemns Iran's threats and attacks on shipping that affect innocent civilians.
