The study, titled "HΓ‘bitos de cuidados com pets idosos", surveyed 527 pet owners from February 9 to 13, focusing primarily on those responsible for senior pets.
Cobasi, a known pet shop network in Brazil, conducted this survey to understand the care habits concerning elderly pets. With the responses primarily collecting from dog and cat owners, the results emphasize the need for increased awareness and proactive health management strategies for aging pets among their owners, prompting a discussion about responsible pet ownership and the potential need for veterinary interventions as pets age.
