One person was known to be trapped in a vehicle and required specialized rescue equipment for a safe extraction. The accident severely disrupted traffic heading towards Klaipeda, with navigation application Waze indicating that a traffic jam formed in the area where the collision took place. More than half an hour after the incident, the congestion continued to increase, reflecting the ongoing impact of the accident on local commuters and transportation.
