The Civil Police in Brazil's Minas Gerais state have identified a driver who obstructed an ambulance transporting a seriously ill patient, leading to an investigation.
The Civil Police of Minas Gerais have successfully identified a 29-year-old man who allegedly obstructed an ambulance belonging to the Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) on the night of Friday, October 13, in the city of Pouso Alegre. The incident occurred as the ambulance was transporting a 91-year-old woman in critical condition, exhibiting symptoms of a stroke, to the Hospital Samuel Libânio. It was reported that the driver performed erratic zigzag maneuvers in front of the ambulance in an apparent attempt to block its path, an action that was captured on video by the emergency medical team.
