An explosion occurred at the Fóðurblöndunnar facility in Korngarðar, Reykjavík early in the morning, resulting in one person sustaining critical injuries and three others being taken to the hospital. The explosion took place around 7 AM on the sixth floor of the processing plant, where sixteen individuals, including employees and contractors working on welding, were present at the time.
