Lithuania received 50 million euros in RRF funds
Lithuania has received 50 million euros in RRF funds as part of its recovery plan, with finance minister Kristupas Vaitiekūnas announcing the news.
Lithuania's finance minister, Kristupas Vaitiekūnas, announced via Facebook that the country has received 50 million euros in funds from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) as part of a larger payment request of 598 million euros made in August of the previous year under the 'New Generation Lithuania' (NKL) plan. The European Commission evaluated Lithuania's progress and found that 39 out of 40 milestones had been fully achieved, while one related to amendments to the Social Security Law was only partially fulfilled. Vaitiekūnas emphasized that this reflects Lithuania's commitment to implementing planned reforms and fulfilling its obligations under the NKL plan.
