In Hämeen, Finland, police are investigating a young man under the age of 20 who is suspected of committing serious crimes this week. He is believed to have robbed a shop and burglarized a jewelry store in Heinola. The burglary occurred on Tuesday, March 17, and the robbery took place later on Thursday, March 19.

The police received an emergency call about the robbery that occurred at a store in Vierumäki around 9 PM, where the suspect threatened a clerk with a sharp weapon, securing cash before fleeing in a farm-style Honda. Responding quickly to the call, police managed to apprehend the suspect within an hour in Lahti when they recognized the vehicle reported in the robbery.

Upon stopping the Honda, law enforcement discovered items used in the robbery as well as part of the stolen cash. Authorities are now investigating whether the same young man was also responsible for the burglary at the jewelry store in Heinola that occurred on Tuesday evening, just before they received a call reporting the situation at 8:25 PM.
