Disney Cruise Line has unveiled its upcoming fourth ship in the Wish-class category, named "Disney Believe." This new vessel is set to embody the adventurous spirit of beloved Disney characters who dare to pursue their dreams, encapsulated by the phrase βand they lived happily ever after.β The announcement was made during the Disney shareholders' annual meeting by the CEO Josh DβAmaro, highlighting the positive themes of hope and possibilities for a better tomorrow that will resonate throughout the cruise experience.
The ship will take inspiration from iconic Disney tales, including "Frozen," "Snow White," "The Little Mermaid," and "Moana," emphasizing the importance of aspiration. Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences, emphasized that the design and programming of the cruise will revolve around these themes, offering families memorable experiences that connect them with Disney's rich storytelling legacy.
Slated to debut in late 2027, "Disney Believe" will expand Disney's cruise fleet, which recently welcomed the "Disney Adventure" in Singapore and is projected to grow to 13 ships by 2031. This expansion reflects Disney's commitment to enhancing its cruise offerings, including plans for three smaller ships of a new class beginning in 2029, showcasing the company's focus on growth and innovation in the cruise industry.
