Sabrina Peron, a 60-year-old lawyer from Bassano del Grappa, Italy, has gained recognition not only for her extensive career in financial and copyright law but also for her impressive feats as an open water swimmer. Her journey in competitive swimming has positioned her as a trailblazer, particularly in Italy, where she became the first Italian woman to swim across the Catalina Channel, a distance of 33 kilometers separating the island from Los Angeles.
