President Droupadi Murmu met Sant Premanand Maharaj at the Radha Keli Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan, where they discussed spirituality and the traditions of Braj.

On the second day of her visit to Braj, President Droupadi Murmu met Sant Premanand Maharaj at the Radha Keli Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan, where their 27-minute conversation revolved around spirituality, society, and the traditions of the Braj region. Upon her arrival, Maharaj welcomed her with the traditional greeting of 'Radhe-Radhe,' and emphasized the importance of chanting God's name, which he described as a simple path to attaining salvation in human life.

During this meeting, the Ashram presented President Murmu with gifts, including a dupatta, garland, and prasad. The President was accompanied by her family, marking a spiritual and familial atmosphere during the visit. This follows her previous day’s activities in which she and Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel visited the Prem Mandir to offer prayers to Lord Radha-Krishna. They entered the temple through the Bhog house door, where they were also warmly welcomed by the temple management, and participated in rituals and hymns with a congregation that enhanced the spiritual experience of the day.

The visit highlights the cultural and religious significance of the Braj region, known for its rich spiritual heritage associated with Lord Krishna and his divine leelas. By engaging with local spiritual leaders, President Murmu not only underscores the importance of spirituality in governance but also strengthens the relationship between the government and religious communities in India, enhancing cultural connections and community outreach initiatives at a national level.
