War in Ukraine. New accusations against Ukraine from Hungary
Trilateral talks between Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia regarding the end of the war are currently postponed, influenced by the situation in the Middle East.
Trilateral negotiations among Ukraine, the United States, and Russia aimed at concluding the ongoing war have been temporarily suspended. According to reports from RBC Ukraine, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhiy Tychiy clarified that these discussions have not been canceled but deferred due to escalating tensions in the Middle East. The involvement of external conflicts, particularly Ukraine's tensions with Iran, has complicated the diplomatic dialogue that could facilitate the resolution of the war in Ukraine.
Heorhiy Tychiy elaborated on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's stance during a press conference, confirming that the war against Iran is indeed adversely affecting discussions involving Ukraine, Russia, and the United States. Tychiy emphasized that several rounds of talks have already been postponed and the current context necessitates careful consideration by all involved parties. He urged against interpreting these delays as a sign of deeper issues, stressing that the discussions remain on hold rather than permanently off the table.
In the midst of these diplomatic challenges, President Zelenskyy has called upon allies to prioritize the establishment of air defense measures, addressing threats ranging from drones to ballistic missiles. This reflects Ukraine's pressing need to bolster its defense capabilities as it navigates both the challenges of the ongoing war and external pressures from recent international developments, maintaining a focus on securing necessary support from its allies during this turbulent period.
